Senior
Generalist to £70k, plus allowances and bonus
OVERVIEW
My client is an international wholesale bank with three core
businesses: capital markets, corporate and investment banking
and private banking.
The bank has a strong presence in these markets through its
network of offices in 60 countries. It is part of a large
group, which is one of the
world's largest banking businesses, employing in excess of
90,000 staff worldwide.
The
London office is based in the City and employs around 500
people.
We are now seeking a Senior Generalist who will be the HR
Partner to a diverse and demanding client base, which will
include a range of corporate banking activities: global project
& structured finance, leveraged finance, private equity,
shipping and export finance and structured commodity finance.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for the
Group's Nordic equity research and Asian equity businesses
and asset management subsidiaries. The client group totals
around 200 people.
The
successful candidate will:
Work
in partnership with the line to ensure that operational HR
issues are executed in a pragmatic manner.
Work
in partnership with the HR Director and two Generalists to
ensure that HR elements of strategic business plans are aligned
with wider corporate issues.
Develop
recruitment plans and tools to resource diverse vacancies
for the various business groups.
THE
CANDIDATE
To be a candidate for this high profile role, you will:
Be
able to demonstrate a high level of HR generalist knowledge
gained in the financial services industry, a professional
service firm or a blue chip corporate.
Have
a high level of negotiating and influencing skills.
Be
resilient, assertive and have a keen sense of humour.
Have
the ability to manage complex situations and multiple priorities
in a practical manner.
